IMPRESSIONISM & PRE-IMPRESSIONISM IN FRANCE (Part I)
Ingeniously uses the paintings of six artists: Sisley, Pissarro, Monet, Le Sidaner,
Boudin, and Dufy - to span one day's trip down the Seine to the Port du Havre. The
sounds of crickets, birds, and moving water announce sunrise as the river works its
way through a small village, past trees and orchards and farmers working the land,
to sunset over the port.

IMPRESSIONISM (Part II)
Scenes from Bordeaux, Trouville, and Beaulieu-sur-Mer merge to present a view
of the seaport where ocean-going vessels and grand sailing ships dock near houses
lining the shore, and multi-masted schooners wave the French flag from their high
perches at smaller boats and fishermen hovering close by with supplies for the
journey abroad.
